P5.4-Million na Aria-arian ng Kawit LGU Pinabayaan sa Aguinaldo Administrasyon

Nakita ng Commission on Audit (COA) na may mga pagkukulang ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Kawit sa tamang pag-record at pagtatalaga ng mga nasira nang kagamitan at sasakyan na nagkakahalaga ng mahigit P5.4 milyon.

Sa audit report para sa taong 2020, natuklasan ng COA na hindi pa naalis sa mga libro ng munisipyo ang mga nasira nang ari-arian (Property, Plant and Equipment o PPE) na nagkakahalaga ng P3,294,062.39.

Dahil dito, lumaki nang hindi tamang paraan ang balanse ng account sa katapusan ng taon.

Kabilang sa mga nasira nang kagamitan na hindi pa naitala nang tama ay:

Motor Vehicles:

  • Mini dumptruck: P899,500.00
  • Spark: P523,716.00
  • Ambulansya: P709,266.29
  • Kabuuan: P2,132,482.29
    School IT Equipment:
  • Acer laptop: P70,000.00

Ayon sa COA, ang mga nasira nang sasakyan at laptop na ito ay hindi naitala sa Inventory and Inspection Report of Unserviceable Property, na labag sa mga tuntunin ng pamahalaan.

Sinabi ng COA na ang hindi pag-alis ng mga nasira nang kagamitan sa mga libro ay nagdudulot ng maling pagkakabilang sa mga asset ng munisipyo.

Dagdag pa nito, ang mga sasakyan at kagamitang hindi na magagamit ay patuloy na bumubulok at nawawalan ng halaga.

Ang Government Accounting Manual para sa Local Government Units ay nagsasabing dapat alisin sa mga libro ang lahat ng nasira nang kagamitan kasama ang accumulated depreciation nito kapag inalis na ang mga ito.

Ang audit report na ito ay tumutukoy sa administrasyon noong 2020 sa ilalim ng dating Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo.
