Ex Tanod Shoots Dead 4 Dasmariñas Barangay Officials

DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — Four people were killed and one was injured in a shooting outside the Barangay Hall of Salitran 3 in Dasmariñas City around 8 a.m. Monday, May 26.

According to initial police investigation, the incident occurred during the barangay’s flag-raising ceremony when the suspect, identified as “Ariel,” a 50-year-old former barangay watchman, approached from behind.

The suspect then pulled out a still-unidentified firearm and opened fire on the barangay officials present at the event.
