Cavite PNP Remains Vigilant for Security and Safety This New Year

CAVITE — The Cavite Provincial Police Office is intensifying security measures to ensure public safety during New Year’s celebrations, under the leadership of Acting Provincial Director PCOL Dwight E. Alegre.

The move is in line with the directives of Philippine National Police Chief Police Gen. Rommel Francisco D. Marbil to address potential risks associated with the holiday season, including fireworks-related incidents and other emergencies.

“We are fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of every Caviteño as we welcome the New Year,” Alegre said. “Our police officers are directed to be proactive in maintaining peace and order and fully prepared to respond to any emergencies.”

All police units in the province have been equipped with fire safety devices and first aid kits to enhance their response capabilities. The police are also coordinating with local government units and partner agencies to ensure a unified approach to public safety.

The Cavite police are urging the public to report any suspicious activities or incidents to the nearest police station or through emergency hotlines. Alegre emphasized the importance of community cooperation and vigilance in maintaining a safe and peaceful environment.

The police office’s efforts are part of its mission to create a safer community, allowing citizens to celebrate the New Year without worry.
