BACOOR, Cavite – A woman was discovered dead in a hotel room in Bacoor City, Cavite province, on Wednesday morning, local police reported.

The victim and a man identified only as “Rommel” checked into the hotel for a 12-hour stay at 1:57 am, according to initial investigations by the Bacoor Component City Police Station (CCPS).

At approximately 6:30 am, the man left the room, telling staff he was going to buy food. When questioned further, he reportedly became agitated and fled the scene.

Hotel employees subsequently found the woman’s body in the room, covered in blood. A knife was recovered at the crime scene.
