In a tragic incident, two young siblings, a four-year-old girl and her three-year-old brother, died in a house fire in Brgy. Biluso, Silang, Cavite.

The fire, which started at approximately 3:45PM local time yesterday, was brought under control by 4:51PM.

Two houses were destroyed in the blaze, including the home of the victims. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Silang Fire Station.

The mother of the children had reportedly left the house to gather firewood. Upon her return, she found their home engulfed in flames and was unable to rescue her children.

In response to the tragedy, Silang Mayor Kevin Anarna has provided initial assistance to the bereaved family, including relief packs.

He has also pledged to cover the funeral costs for the two children. The community is rallying around the family during this difficult time.
