Carmona, Cavite – In a recent Facebook post, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Carmona, Cavite announced that all public schools across the nation will implement asynchronous classes and distance learning on April 15-16, 2024. This move is aimed at allowing learners to complete their pending assignments, projects, and other requirements as the end of the school year approaches.

The advisory also states that teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools will not be required to report to their respective stations on these dates. However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, may continue as scheduled.

Private schools are not covered by this advisory, but they have the option to implement the same measures if they choose to do so.

The official memorandum has been sent to the regional and schools division offices. LGU Carmona, Cavite thanked everyone for their understanding and cooperation.

This move is seen as a significant step in ensuring that students are given ample time to complete their academic requirements amidst the challenges posed by the current educational setup.
