In a significant stride towards the eradication of drug-related criminality, the Kawit Municipal Police Station has reported the arrest of a key drug personality, known by the alias “Alfred”. The arrest was made in the early hours of April 5, 2024, as part of an intensified campaign against all forms of criminality.

Under the direct supervision of PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz, the Drugs Enforcement Unit and Intel Operatives of the station, in coordination with PDEA-4A, conducted a successful anti-illegal drug operation. The operation, commonly referred to as a ‘buy-bust’, took place in Brgy. San Sebastian, Kawit, Cavite.

The suspect, a resident of Malate, Manila, was apprehended after selling a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a substance suspected to be “Shabu”. Following his arrest, “Alfred” was informed of his constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language he best understood.

The suspect was then transported to the Kawit Municipal Police Station for further documentation and appropriate legal proceedings.
