The municipality of Silang has been distinguished with the prestigious 2022 Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance, a testament to its commitment to creating a nurturing environment for its youngest residents.

The accolade, which spans the entire Calabarzon region, was accepted by a cohort of devoted public servants, including Hon. Ivee Jayne Reyes.

Mayor Alston Kevin Anarna, in his remarks, emphasized the collective responsibility towards the youth, stating, “Under my administration, we are united in our efforts to foster a community where our children can thrive. This recognition reaffirms our pledge that ‘For the Children, We Take Charge,’ inspiring us to continue our dedicated work in shaping a brighter future for them.”

The municipality’s achievement is not just an honor but a call to action, reinforcing the belief that the welfare of children is the cornerstone of progressive governance.
