Kawit Resort Scandal: Politicians and Robbery Suspects Caught in Shocking Images

The Kawit, Cavite Police Station has issued a public statement clarifying the images circulating on social media related to a robbery case in Kawit, Cavite.

Contrary to rumors, the photos taken at Councilor Vic Murillo’s resort were not from a raid but were part of the investigation that shed light on the case, police said.

Guided by the Cavite Police Provincial Office and Police Regional Office 4A, the Kawit police led the investigation.

They reached the resort with the assistance of politicians linked to the case, the statement reads.

Kawit Police said they gathered sufficient evidence to file appropriate charges against the suspects.

Kawit Police express gratitude to Vice Mayor SM Matro, Councilor Vic Murillo, Kap JD Dones, and Karl Velasco for their cooperation.

Additionally, they apologize for the misuse of the case by individuals spreading fake news.
