In a momentous event, the local government of General Trias City in Barangay Biclatan inaugurated a sprawling 3-hectare People’s Park called Green Breeze Village.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” Ferrer 4th, accompanied by distinguished guests including Cavite 6th District Rep. Antonio Ferrer, Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen, city councilors, and Liga ng mga Barangay federation president Ireneo Hatid.

Situated in the city’s upland area, this urban oasis boasts an array of recreational amenities.

Visitors can explore a bike trail, a dedicated jogger pathway, and an elevated nature walkway.

Additionally, the park features a skate park equipped with comfort rooms, outdoor fitness facilities, a playground for children, and an amphitheater.

The eagerly anticipated phase 1, spanning 1 hectare, will be accessible to the public starting April 2, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., catering to both bikers and joggers.

Notably, this marks the city’s second bike trail, with the first one located at the Riverpark Trails in Barangay Navarro, established under the auspices of the Federal Land Communities and inaugurated on January 20, 2024.
