A joint operation by the Kawit Municipal Police Station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has led to the arrest of two individuals suspected of selling illegal drugs in Kawit, Cavite.

The suspects, known by their aliases “Otek” and “JC”, were apprehended last week in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Samala-Marquez, Kawit. 

They were found to be in possession of a small heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu”, a type of methamphetamine.

The operation was carried out by the Drugs Enforcement Unit and Intel Operatives of the Kawit Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of Officer-in-Charge PLTCOL Socrates S Jaca.

The suspects were informed of their constitutional rights and are currently being held at the Kawit Municipal Police Station for further investigation and processing.

The police have warned the public against engaging in illegal drug activities, and have vowed to continue their campaign against criminality in Kawit.
