In a major blow to the illicit drug trade in Kawit, Cavite, authorities have arrested a key suspect in a buy-bust operation.

According to reports, the Kawit Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-4A), conducted a sting operation last week, resulting in the apprehension of a suspect known only by his alias, “Jeff.”

The suspect, a resident of Barangay Pulvorista, Kawit, Cavite, was caught selling a small sachet of suspected marijuana to an undercover operative.

The operation, which was supervised by Police Lieutenant Colonel Socrates S. Jaca, was part of a campaign to eradicate crime and illicit drug activity in the community.

The suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and is currently being held at the Kawit Municipal Police Station for further investigation and prosecution.

This latest arrest sends a strong message to those involved in the illicit drug trade in Kawit, Cavite that authorities are committed to cracking down on their activities.
