The Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter is set to open a new headquarters in Vermosa, Imus, expanding its services and capabilities in the province.
The three-story facility will house Cavite’s first primary blood center, capable of hosting large blood drives and managing blood testing and processing. This aims to ensure a stable supply for local hospitals and patients.
The building will also feature:
— A disaster communication center
— Storage for disaster response equipment
— Multipurpose rooms for training and workshops
— Meeting spaces for support groups and community events
Red Cross officials say the new headquarters will serve as a central resource for emergency and medical needs, improving accessibility and responsiveness of blood services in Cavite.
The expansion is expected to strengthen the organization’s national network and broaden its reach in Cavite, offering enhanced blood, health and welfare services.
