19 Arrested in Cavite for Voice Phishing Scam, Including 2 Vloggers

Authorities arrested 19 individuals, including two popular vloggers, in Imus City, Cavite on Friday for their alleged involvement in a voice phishing scam, also known as vishing.

Police seized evidence including SIM cards, mobile devices, laptops, bank documents, ledgers and scripts used to deceive victims.

According to authorities, the suspects used voice phishing techniques to trick victims into providing personal and financial information, such as bank account numbers and passwords.

Poice authorities are continuing their investigation and urge the public to be cautious of vishing scams and other types of online fraud.
