GENERAL TRIAS City, Cavite – The Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) provided free healthcare services to 345 residents of General Trias City recently, as part of an outreach program aimed at improving medical access in underserved communities.
The medical and dental mission, held in Barangay Pasong Camachile II, offered services including medical consultations, dental extractions, eye check-ups, and cervical vaccinations for girls aged 9-14. Electrocardiograms (ECGs) and X-rays were also available.
The initiative was requested by 6th District Board Member Maurito C. Sison and supported by local officials, including Board Member Kerby Salazar.
“This mission demonstrates our commitment to ensuring all Caviteños have access to essential healthcare,” a PGC spokesperson told Reuters.
The PGC team distributed prescription medicines, antibiotics, and multivitamins to participants. Officials say the program is part of a broader effort to enhance healthcare services across Cavite province.
